We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Infrastructure Engineering (Mainframe Systems Software) to join our TSG Mainframe Services team. This role is located in Jersey City

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Expertise in infrastructure design and implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Support coverage both on and off hours to aid in problem resolution
  • Possess experience in a high demand multi-tenant environment
  • Demonstrate servant leadership

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Advanced certifications in infrastructure engineering or related disciplines preferred. EXPERIENCE - Typically 6-10 years of experience.
  • Knowledge in one or more areas of mainframe discipline.
  • ITIL or ITSM oversight or expertise in Release, Change and CMDB
  • Installation knowledge of ISV SW and IBM Operating systems
  • Knowledge of z/OS, PARMLIB, Unix SYSTEMS services, HCD
  • Knowledge of SMP/E or maintenance routines if applicable
  • Preferred knowledge of VTAM, TCPIP, IBM connect Direct, CA session manager, CA spool
  • Knowledge in JCL
  • Knowledge system IPL processes
  • Knowledge of ISPF/TSO
  • Framework experience in building and maintaining a mainframe platform
