We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting I to join our Corporate Trust Analytics team. This role is located in Manchester.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Responsible for cash and asset reconciliations related to assigned funds.
- Preparation of 1st draft Management accounts for both simple and complex transactions. Management accounts will include typically trial balance, profit & loss account and balance sheet for review by team members.
- Requires data gathering from source systems and detailed analysis of the transactions to ensure accurate bookings are made in the accounting system.
- Liaises with other internal parties as necessary for validation of transactions where issues are noted.
- Ensure accuracy of reports and ensure deadlines are met.
- Provides guidance and reviews work of junior team members.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
- Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
