We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President in Client Service Management to join our Global Payments & Trade Client Service team. This role is located in New York, NY, Lake Mary, FL, or Pittsburgh, PA.


As a Vice President in Client Service Management, you serve as a point of contact to clients on service issues and assists in developing strategy to deliver world-class client service across multiple products. Depending on the experience level of the individual, could serve as the senior point of contact with responsibilities to influence internal stakeholders and resolve more complex issues or resolve issues escalated by more junior team members. This position is integral to supporting BNY's strategic pillars by fostering strong client relationships and ensuring service excellence.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Support clients in addressing and resolving complex operational and technical issues and ensuring requests are executed by having advanced problem-solving skills, judgement, and experience to analyze information.
  • Use developed communication skills to deliver high quality service to clients.
  • Use a CRM platform for all communication with clients.
  • Provide individuals at assigned clients information related to BNY’s products and services representing an array of lines of business and geographies; leverages an in-depth understanding of broader BNY’s services and offerings.
  • Proactively assists clients in reviewing potential business needs and directs them to appropriate resources at BNY.
  • Maybe the central point of contact for business development and assume client onboarding and/or risk management responsibilities.
  • Uses in-depth knowledge of client issues and needs to contribute to business development efforts.
  • Lead and participate in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience. Helps develop process improvements.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 5-7 years of total work experience preferred.

This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
