We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Business Architect to join our Enterprise Architecture team. This role is located in Pittsburgh.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Develop and maintain a firm-wide capability model to support organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with solution/domain architects and application teams to research and drive architectural designs based on business capabilities.
  • Create and leverage redundancy reports, enforcing best practices and principles of capability-driven architecture.
  • Provide guidance and support for enterprise transformation initiatives such as the Platform North Star reviews as part of the Enterprise’s conversion to a Platforms Operating Model.
  • Utilize enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman, to guide the development and implementation of business architecture.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure shared understanding of business architecture principles.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in enterprise business architecture, bringing new ideas and innovative approaches to the organization.
  • Perform data analytics to support business architecture activities.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • More than 5 years of experience in technology and architecture roles required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of Python, Alteryx, or similar data-analytics development environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI development is preferred.
