Were seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, US Control Oversight to join our Global Collateral Control team. This role is located in New York.

In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • This role resides in the Global Collateral Client Platform First Line Control Team.

  • You would be the Platforms lead Control representative in the U.S. region, with responsibilities including leading U.S. regulatory compliance, product governance, and regional escalations. Additionally, you may also support the teams non-U.S. responsibilities from time to time as required.

  • For product governance, you would be responsible for leading delivery of the Platforms product governance model for U.S. products and strategic initiatives, working closely with U.S. product owners including assessing business change impacts and governance, maintaining the product catalogue, supporting change governance submissions, supporting product planning risk assessments and defining Control requirements for product developments.

To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:

  • Experience in compliance, risk or operational governance is required, with demonstrated problem solving and analytical ability, and strong oral and written communication skills including providing technical advice.

  • Experience in collateral management, custody and data analytics is preferred.

  • Organized, reliable, mature team player who takes initiative with a strong capacity to work autonomously, responsibility towards client outcomes, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and the team.

  • Contributes to an inclusive working culture.

  • No direct reports: may occasionally supervise small teams and projects.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $102,000 and $228,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
