We're seeking a high-performing future team member for the role of Associate, GIW Chief of Staff Team to join our Global Investments & Wealth (GIW) organization. This role is located in New York, NY and reports directly to the Chief of Staff of Global Investments & Wealth.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Meeting & Event Preparation: Partner with the Chief of Staff to prepare briefing materials, talking points, and logistics for internal and external meetings, events, and speaking engagements.
  • Client Strategy: Partner closely with the Chief of Staff to evaluate client meeting requests and develop client strategy - enabling the Global Head of Investments & Wealth to have a strategic, high impact schedule of client engagements.
  • Travel & Event Logistics: Support coordination of travel and event planning in partnership with the Global Head of Investments & Wealth’s Executive Assistant and other team members as needed.
  • Executive Communications Support: Draft and manage internal correspondence on behalf of the Global Head of Investments & Wealth and Chief of Staff, ensuring alignment with tone, messaging, and business context.
  • Shadowing & Follow-Up: Attend select meetings with the Chief of Staff to document key takeaways, support follow-up, and gain firsthand exposure to senior-level discussions.
  • Project & Initiative Coordination: Provide support on cross-functional projects driven by the Global Head of Investments & Wealth or Chief of Staff, including managing timelines, stakeholder alignment, and progress tracking.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 plus years of relevant experience
  • Proactive, driven high achiever with a track record of success; curious and motivated to learn
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills
  • Highly dependable and detail-oriented with a low-ego, team-first mindset
  • Discreet and professional when handling sensitive information
  • Interest and experience using AI to increase productivity and optimize workflows

The base salary for this position is expected to be between $58,000 and $95,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.


This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
