About the job

  • The KYC Data Officers primary focus is to gather client data and documentation to construct a KYC (Know Your Client) file to support the due diligence assessment of prospective and existing clients

Your Main Activities Are

  • Responsible for the preparation of onboarding and recertification of KYC process, such as understand the purpose of each request and explain the process to the client
  • Ensure the onboarding and recertification requests in the systems and create ownership structure and list related persons 
  • Conduct initial checks against internal data and databases to determine KYC information held within the bank and required documents to be shared with clients and stakeholders
  • Manage information and documents, particularly obtain data required according to the segment policy, collect remaining documents from the clients, perform analysis with existing documents and update systems with corresponding data analysis 
  • Ensure the validation of all the data according to internal procedures and guidelines, while ensuring due diligence regarding local requirements for multi-site clients are properly performed

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Academic background in Law, Economics, Finance and Accounting or similar areas
  • Up to 2 years of experience in Legal, Compliance, Banking and Financial Operations or similar role 
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work effectively in a transversal environment and collaboration across different teams, departments and clients
  • Analytical capacity, attention to detail and rigorousness
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment, fast leaning and resilience skills
