Job Description:

The individual will help lead capital formation efforts with ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) and family offices in Latin America, with a primary focus on Mexico. The role requires deep familiarity with the private wealth landscape, strong commercial expertise, and effective communication of sophisticated investment strategies to senior-level executives, including CIOs, principals, and UBOs. The position will be based in Miami or New York.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise capital for the firm’s private market strategies (e.g., private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure) from family offices and UHNWIs in Mexico and selected Latin American markets.
  • Help develop a coordinated and systematic plan to accelerate asset growth with family offices and UNHWI in the region.
  • Lead and manage client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for key stakeholders including CIOs, family principals, and advisors.
  • Educate prospective investors on fund strategies, structures, performance, and market views.
  • Collaborate closely with the broader private capital, private wealth, and institutional sales teams, product specialists, legal, and marketing teams.
  • Represent the firm at regional events, conferences, and client meetings across Latin America.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of regional market trends, regulatory developments, and family office dynamics.

Qualifications

Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who work well in a team-driven environment, are highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and have sound judgment and demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.

The successful candidate must meet the following qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in private banking, private markets distribution, or capital raising within the Latin American region, ideally with a focus on Mexico.
  • Demonstrated success in fundraising or client coverage with family offices and UHNWIs.
  • Strong network of professional relationships with Latin American family offices and private wealth platforms (mainly in Mexico).
  • Strong understanding of alternative investments and portfolio construction for private clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; credibly engages with sophisticated investors.
  • Self-starter; works well independently in a cross-border, dynamic environment.
  • Fluency (written and verbal) in both Spanish and English.

Expected annual base salary range:

$225,000 - $250,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation and benefits offered in connection with the role consist of comprehensive health benefits, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, and FSA benefits; paid time off; life insurance; 401(k) plan; and discretionary bonuses. Certain employees may also be eligible for equity and other incentive compensation at Blackstone’s sole discretion.
