We are seeking a visionary AVP, Intelligent Automation & Process Enablement to spearhead our intelligent automation journey and empower process enablement within Finance Transformation. As a key leader, you will design, implement, and govern AI-assisted workflows across Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Risk. Your expertise will be pivotal in identifying process improvement opportunities, translating complex processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of finance automation at Cantor Fitzgerald Securities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, testing, and implementation of AI-assisted workflows, utilizing advanced tools like Microsoft Copilot and Claude.
- Develop and refine prompts and agent logic to ensure high-quality, accurate automation outputs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive automation documentation, including workflow logic and robust guardrail frameworks.
- Validate AI-generated output, ensuring financial integrity and compliance before handover to relevant teams.
- Conduct comprehensive process mapping across Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Risk, identifying areas for efficiency enhancement and process redesign.
- Translate complex processes into clear functional requirements and user stories, facilitating seamless collaboration between technology and business teams.
- Partner with Technology and the Automation COE to transition automation prototypes into governed, production-ready solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Provide hands-on support for configuring, testing, and troubleshooting automation tools and AI applications, ensuring optimal performance.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with various departments and stakeholders, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
- Assist in designing and delivering training materials to support the adoption of AI-assisted tools and processes across Finance functions, ensuring a smooth transition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field, with a strong academic background.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a proven track record in automation and AI-enabled process improvement.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-based tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Claude) and process mapping techniques, showcasing practical expertise.
- Proficiency in requirements gathering, user story development, and critical evaluation of AI outputs, ensuring high-quality automation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively translate technical concepts for diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong client-facing skills, building trusted partnerships across multiple functions, and a proven ability to establish credibility.
- Experience working in a finance automation or transformation environment, supporting the design, testing, and deployment of automated and AI-enabled workflows.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath) is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI governance and control frameworks within a regulated finance context, ensuring compliance and integrity.
- Hybrid role with a focus on office-based collaboration (4 days per week in NYC), fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
