Join Berenberg's Innovation & Technology team in London as a Database Administrator (Oracle). You will administer, configure and implement Oracle databases in a high-availability environment, plan and provision new databases, and perform migrations, patches and upgrades. The role includes automating processes, ensuring storage and archiving run smoothly, and providing consulting and project support. Experience with Oracle RAC, SQL/PLSQL, Ansible, shell scripting and Linux is advantageous.

Full Job Description
- Administration, configuration, and implementation of databases in a demanding high-availability environment (Oracle)
- Planning and provisioning of new databases
- Automation of existing processes
- Performing database migrations, patches, and upgrades
- Consulting and support of projects
- Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures work smoothly
- Successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist or a degree in the IT field
- In-depth experience with Oracle RAC
- Ideally, initial experience in database administration, especially with relational database systems
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Ansible, and scripting (Shell) is an advantage
- Know-how in Linux is a plus
- Very good written and spoken English skills
