Apply now For our Events team in London we are looking to hire a
Conference Organiser
Your role in the team
Execute seminars and multi-day conferences incl. programme curation, corporate invitations, building agendas where appropriate, venue and supplier management, F&B, entertainment, internal attendee management, investor registrations, communication and marketing material, leading the wider onsite team.
What will you do?
- Responsible for planning and fully executing allocated UK/EU/US events and sector conferences (in-person and limited virtual formats)
- Develop corporate attendee lists for conferences and work with internal stakeholders
- Planning and scheduling 1on1 meetings for conferences
- Manage key projects, including (but not limited to) elements of conferences, employee events, sporting events, arranging tickets/dinners across the bank and charity events
- Vendor management and negotiation including contract management for various suppliers
Who are we looking for?
- Will preferably be educated to degree level (although not essential)
- Will have 3+ years previous events experience with some of that within investment banking
- Will have good attention to detail and excellent time management as well as strong organisational skills
- Must be comfortable liaising with clients and staff at all levels within the company
- Demonstrates financial awareness
- Language skills (German or French) will be an advantage
