BBVA is seeking an eFX Sales professional to drive the growth of its electronic FX franchise across Institutional clients. The role combines client coverage, execution expertise, and commercial ownership, with a focus on expanding eFX adoption, optimizing client outcomes, and contributing to the evolution of BBVAs digital FX offering.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a client-facing electronic FX execution specialist for Institutional clients, serving as a key point of contact for platform usage, trade-related queries, data analysis, and market best practices.
Drive the adoption and growth of eFX solutions across the client base, increasing volumes, improving wallet share, and strengthening BBVAs digital value proposition.
Embed BBVAs Radical Client Perspective in all interactions by deeply understanding client needs, anticipating opportunities, and delivering consistent, high-quality solutions that create long-term value for clients and the franchise
Partner closely with Sales and Relationship Managers to originate and develop commercial opportunities, supporting client engagement and revenue generation.
Collaborate with FX Trading to monitor execution quality, pricing performance, and client behavior, implementing targeted actions to enhance competitiveness and client outcomes.
Use data and execution metrics (e.g. volumes, spreads, hit ratio, markouts, client activity trends) to proactively identify opportunities and drive commercial initiatives.
Develop and maintain client-level analysis and reporting, providing actionable insights to internal stakeholders and supporting strategic decision-making.
Support the rollout and commercialization of new platforms, features, and functionalities, ensuring strong client adoption and a seamless user experience.
Contribute to the development of BBVAs eFX offering, providing client-driven feedback to Product, Technology, and Quant teams to enhance pricing, workflows, and platform capabilities.
Coordinate with onboarding and support teams to ensure efficient client onboarding and integration across internal and external platforms.
Engage with external vendors (e.g. multi-dealer platforms) to address client-related issues, enhance platform performance, and identify opportunities to improve BBVAs positioning, client coverage, and overall footprint across platforms.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks, escalating issues when appropriate
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or a related field.
57 years of experience in FX markets, with strong exposure to electronic FX execution, eFX Sales, FX Trading, or FX Product roles.
Proven track record in client-facing roles covering Institutional clients, with demonstrated ability to drive commercial outcomes.
Strong hands-on experience with electronic FX platforms (e.g. BidFX, FX Connect, FSS, Reactive Markets, FXALL, 360T, Bloomberg FXGO), with a deep understanding of execution workflows.
Soft skills:
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable commercial insights.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence both clients and internal stakeholders.
