About the job:

The BBVA Global Markets eCommerce team is seeking a candidate with 2y experience in supporting FX products

The individual will be partnering with and supporting trading, sales and clients directly on all aspects of electronic trading. This includes, but is not limited to client support, technical support, automated pricing definition, project management, change management, BAU administration, as well as a range of other activities supporting the Global Markets business as a whole. The individual must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be comfortable on a trade floor in order to successfully deliver in a high stress environment.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of FX markets: spot, forwards, swaps, NDFs, options, etc.

  • Knowledge of electronic trading platforms: 360T, FXAll, Bloomberg, Fenics, D3, PSE, STAR, Murex, Copp Clark, MaxxTrader, Deal Manager, etc.

  • Knowledge of Streaming / RFQ, pricing, margins, and FX trade flows.

  • End-to-end client lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintenance of accounts and services. Coordination and follow-up of requests, document validation, and issue resolution, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and established quality standards.

  • Effective management of communication with international clients, ensuring a close, professional, and results-oriented approach. Coordination of client needs, incident follow-up, and alignment between technical and business teams in multicultural environments.

  • Experience working with Trading, Sales, and Technology teams. Ability to understand both business needs and technical aspects, ensuring proper execution and a fast response to business-impacting situations.

  • Business and market knowledge, understanding of electronic liquidity, latency impact, and knowledge of electronic risk controls: flow limits, last look, throttling, etc.

  • Pricing explainers / pricing analysis.

  • Support for pricing across transactional channels.

  • Familiarity with critical production environments and their support, with the ability to operate autonomously in low-latency environments.

  • Availability for weekend interventions and post-production validations.

  • Strong performance in high-availability environments with reduced response times, with the ability to prioritize and coordinate actions in critical situations being highly valued.

  • Proactive approach to identifying operational risks.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Qualifications/Education Required:

  • Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related.

Experience Required:

  • At least 2 years of experience working in eTrading environment.

  • Experience supporting electronic Trading Platform.

  • Knowledge of eTrading workflows (RFQ, STW, API connectivity to Venues etc. for the above products.

  • Functional experience of 360T, FXAll, Bloomberg, Fenics, D3, PSE, STAR, Murex, Copp Clark, MaxxTrader, Deal Manager, etc.

  • Business and market knowledge, understanding of electronic liquidity and latency impact, as well as knowledge of electronic risk controls such as flow limits, last look, throttling, etc.
