Join Barclays as a C# Developer where you will be required to help improve the process automation of a large scale programme of loan securitisations.

The role requires a good understanding of financial concepts and the ability to think critically.

As a multi disciplined team you will be expected to contribute to coding, system design, database design, documentation and testing of the features you develop.

The ability to find answers through reading documentation, code analysis, data analysis and discussion with non-technical users is desirable for this role.

Day to day you will be discussing JIRA details with the technical and/or product lead, committing code and unit tests, writing and executing system test plans and collating test data for review with a business user.

You will need to respond to queries from our business users on the features you support and propose solutions to any issues which arise.

To be successful as a C# Developer, you should have experience with;

  • C#
  • T-SQL
  • Entity Framework

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure. 

Accountabilities

  • Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
  • Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
  • Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
  • Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.
