Job Responsibilities: Conduct and Customer Protection support the on-going reinforcement of the Group Conduct and Customer Protection initiatives across the Asian entities, providing guidance and references to facilitate implementation monitor the Asian entities Conduct framework through local Conduct dashboard and other Group Conduct reporting, including reviewing and challenging action plans assist in the planning of Conduct technical reviews by preparing working papers and coordinating the interview meetings with local entities. Coordinate and timely follow-up actions identified from the reviews and input updates in the Group system assist in the preparation of materials for Group and International Markets (IMA) Conduct Committee (and other relevant Committees) and coordinate the submission and review of relevant local reports / papers Stakeholder Collaboration and Engagement collaborate with Group and IMA Conduct teams to facilitate discussion of Conduct priorities, activities and issues of Asian entities actively participate in Group Conduct projects or working groups by providing feedback and inputs on Asia requirements and practices stay abreast of regulations across Asia and provide timely update to Group Conduct team and other relevant stakeholders Awareness and Capability Building collaborate with relevant local stakeholders to facilitate exchange of Conduct priorities, activities and issues, including local regulatory development on Conduct support Asian entities Conduct teams in their local awareness program by sharing materials and delivering training and other educational initiatives On ad hoc, present in Group, IMA and entity forums to cascade Conduct-related activities and promote awareness Monitoring, Controls and Compliance Testing upon request, support local entities monitoring plan by performing monitoring and compliance testing reviews including collaborating with local internal control team. Coordinate and timely follow-up actions identified from the reviews Group and IMA reporting cascade to local Compliance teams general Compliance matters such as Group Compliance Standards and policies, Asia Compliance policies, other Group reporting instructions and templates, etc. and provide advice / support if needed. Participate in ad hoc projects and other initiatives coordinate submission and review of local reports and provide meaningful feedback to local Compliance teams and Asia General Counsel and Head of Compliance to deliver quality and timely submission of Group reports lead and coordinate within the team the Asia compliance activities such as annual plan, training, management and committee reports and other relevant Group and IMa reports develop compliance training and communications materials through the preparation of presentation materials, newsletters and other internal communications materials. Deliver trainings and other awareness campaigns to Asia office staff Qualifications and Requirements: 6 years of experience (Assistant Manager/Manager level) with strong working background in Conduct or Distribution Compliance within the insurance industry Proven track record in a regional role, managing stakeholders across diverse Asian jurisdictions Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of insurance products, sales practices, customer service, and the regulatory landscape across Asia (e.g., HKIA, FSA, FSS, OIC, etc.) Practical experience in Compliance Testing or Internal Audit, with the ability to design working papers and track remedial actions Core Competencies: Analytical Mindset: attention to detail; ability to review complex dashboards and reports to identify underlying trends, provide value-added challenge and present high quality consolidated / regional view Communication & Influence: excellent command of English (written and spoken); proficiency in an Asian language is a distinct advantage for regional coordination; good presentation skills and engagement of different stakeholders Independent & Proactive: capable of working independently to manage tight reporting deadlines while proactively supporting local entities; with sound time management skills Education: University degree in Law, Business, Commerce, or Economics is preferred
