Application Developer, Power BI Bangalore,Gurugram , India We are seeking a talented Senior BI Expert with robust technical expertise across the full Power Suite ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in Power BI, Power Automate, data modeling, advanced SQL, DAX, and AI/Co-Pilot tools. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining intelligent BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making, process automation, and innovative analytics. What youll be DOING What will your essential responsibilities include? Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations aligned with business needs. Build and optimize data models ensuring efficient performance and scalability. Maintain existing reports and implement enhancements based on user feedback. Develop automated workflows to streamline routine business processes and data integrations. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions. Troubleshoot and optimize automation workflows for reliability. Create robust, scalable data models using Power BI and related tools. Ensure data quality, consistency, and security standards are upheld. Collaborate with data engineers for data pipeline enhancements. Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Develop sophisticated DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs to support analytics. Resolve data discrepancies and improve query performance. Leverage AI functionalities within Power Platform to develop intelligent insights. Implement Co-Pilot features to enhance report generation and automation. Explore and recommend AI-driven innovations for business applications. Gather requirements from business users and translate them into technical solutions. Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for BI tools. Ensure solutions adhere to best practices and organizational standards. Support and guide BAU and production support teams. You will report to Technical Lead. What you will BRING Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: Required Skills and Abilities: Relevant years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including creating data models, DAX, and reports. Robust knowledge of Power Automate with experience in designing workflows and integrations. Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to write advanced, optimized queries. Experience in data modeling techniques, including star schema and snowflake architecture. Hands-on experience with AI features and Co-Pilot tools within Microsoft Power Platform. Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and optimize BI solutions. Good understanding of data governance, security, and best practices. Robust analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Desired Skills and Abilities: Graduate / Postgraduate in computer science. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Power BI Certification. Experience with Azure Data Services or Data Factory.
