Our first class Global Loans team specialises in advising our clients on all aspects of Belgian and cross-border complex financing transactions across: - Leveraged and acquisition finance;
- Real estate finance;
- Infrastructure finance;
- Structured finance;
- Asset finance;
- Securitisation;
- Debt capital markets; and
- Debt restructuring.
Working within a close-knit, human-sized team, you will benefit from direct mentorship, immediate responsibility and day-to-day collaboration with senior colleagues. Essential Skills and Experience: Experience - You successfully passed a Master's degree in law in a Belgian university, ideally completed by an LL.M degree (general or focused on banking and finance);
- A specialized Master's degree or a business management degree (HEC Lige, Solvay, Louvain Business school, KUL Business school, AMS, etc.) would be an asset;
- 0-2 years of experience in transactional banking and finance within a global law firm or a large local law firm;
- You are registered or eligible to be registered with the Brussels Bar.
Skills - Fluency in English and proficiency in French. Proficiency in Dutch will be considered an asset.
