The Opportunity

The Operations team plays a major part in running our firm and has a presence at every Ashurst location. The Expenses Assistant will sit within the Global Expenses Hub and will be responsible for managing and processing global expenses, ensuring compliance with the firm's expense policies and coding guidance, and for providing support to employees in the submission of expense claims.

  • Have a positive and proactive approach, with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have strong organisational skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively and work to deadlines.
  • Are resilient and have the ability to work with various stakeholders at different levels within the firm.
  • Have an understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Are keen to learn new skills and develop or improve skill sets.
