Position Overview
Apollo is seeking a highly motivated Associate with excellent business management skills and strong knowledge of wealth distribution to join our Strategy team within the Global Wealth Management Solutions (GWMS) business. In partnership with our Head of Strategy and broader GWMS COO & Strategy team, this individual will be responsible for supporting the direction of strategy across GWMS. The Associate will play an important role in expanding Apollos solutions across the global wealth client population.
Drive commercial execution workstreams across GWMS distribution channels, acting as the connective tissue between strategy and stakeholders
Support the design, build-out, and ongoing improvement of the sales process and operating infrastructure
Develop and maintain commercial frameworks, models, and playbooks that enable the broader GWMS organization to execute with greater consistency and speed
Independently prepare structured, leadership-ready communications tracking progress against strategic priorities
Work cross-functionally across distribution, product, and operations, navigating a matrixed organization through influence rather than authority
Flex into sales-adjacent responsibilities as the mandate evolves, including channel engagement and partner-facing work when required
Support the evolution of the distribution model through the development of AI-forward techniques
Assist in the drafting and distribution of leadership, strategy and client-related communications
Support organizational change efforts by aligning stakeholders, facilitating action items, and ensuring smooth adoption of strategic programs
Possess strong investment and financial acumen and operate as an expert Apollos product suite and portfolio management capabilities, maintaining a deep knowledge of positioning, holdings, competitive edge, overall investment results across the capital structure, and financial impact to the firm
Work in partnership with senior Strategy teammates to ensure continuity and execution across channel initiatives assist with alignment of channel infrastructure and reporting
Provide analysis to inform the development of key initiatives and distribution model as well as evaluate the return on investment across costs, programs, and more
Act as a consistent team player who effectively works across Apollo to advance the firms goals
Join and lead ad hoc projects to support the growth of the business
Prepare presentations and strategy updates for executive and external meetings
Qualifications & Experience
Strong understanding of wealth management or asset management business (preferably both)
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in financial services industry
Demonstrates passion for translating research, data and analytics into actionable distribution outcomes
Prior experience (1) working with financial advisors or private wealth clients and (2) in Strategy or Financial Planning & Analysis preferred
Strong organization skills and work ethic
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form
Must work effectively with other groups in the organization and collaborate as necessary
Skilled in Office suite of applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Strong CRM (preferably Salesforce, and Tableau) and AI tooling skills
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Demonstrates integrity, high-energy and motivation to succeed
Series 7 and 63 licensed
Pay Range

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance.
