Build your tax career with a global brand. At Allianz Partners (part of Allianz Group), youll join a supportive regional finance team and help keep our Thailand operations compliant and futurereadywithout needing to tick every box on day one.

 

In this role, youll own daytoday Thailand tax compliance and tax accounting, working closely with our Shared Service Center. Youll prepare filings and payments, support audits, keep ledgers tidy, and improve how we workpartnering with Finance, Legal, business, and external tax advisor. Youll also collaborate with the regional tax team to support select Southeast Asia markets where needed. Thailand remains your primary scope. Youll report to the Regional Manager and gain exposure to a multinational environment with clear processes and room to grow.

 

What youll do

  • Own Thailand tax compliance and accounting (CIT, VAT, WHT) as primary scope
  • Prepare/submit returns and payments; manage e-filings and compliance calendars
  • Maintain tax working papers; reconcile tax GLs and clear open items
  • Handle Revenue Department queries/audits end-to-end; compile documents and close findings
  • Support year-end tax packs, statutory audit requests, and tax disclosures
  • Monitor regulatory updates (e.g., e-invoicing); implement changes and improve processes/controls with SSC
  • Partner with Finance/Legal/Business/Tax Advisor on tax checks; collaborate with the regional tax team to support select SE Asia markets as needed

 

What youll bring

  • Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field (professional certifications are a plus but not required)
  • Experience in Thailand tax compliance and/or tax accounting (corporate tax, VAT, WHT); audit/advisory or inhouse backgrounds welcome
  • Comfortable working with IFRS, IAS12, ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Excel; able to manage efilings and reconciliations
  • Clear communicator (Thai and English), organized, and reliable with deadlines
  • Growth mindset: keen to learn, improve processes, and work with regional teams

 

Nice to have (not required)

  • International tax exposure (e.g., crossborder WHT, tax treaties, PE concepts)
  • Transfer pricing familiarity (intercompany charging, documentation)
  • Experience in a tax consulting firm
  • Experience collaborating with shared service centers or regional stakeholders
  • Involvement in process automation, implementation, or related project
