SRE - Observability & Automation

A leading financial markets firm are implementing site reliability engineering principals and are looking for an experienced technologist to drive automation in systems observability.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Linux and DevOps professional with a mixture of on-prem and cloud-based experience to play a key role in deploying and managing observability tools, metrics, and dashboards, and driving automated monitoring, alerting and incident response in an infrastructure-as-code environment.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

  • 5+ years in Platform/DevOps/SRE engineering or related
  • Prometeus, Grafana, Golang preferred
  • Very strong Linux experience both on-prem and virtual
  • Containerisation experience using Podman or Docker
  • Terraform, Ansible; CI/CD experience
  • Experience to datacentre and compute hardware services
  • Degree educated or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or related

This is a £550-600/day PAYE role (employers taxes paid separately) initially for six months.
