Kubernetes Engineer - Financial Markets

A financial markets firm are implementing a new instance of Kubernetes and have an opportunity high a highly experienced systems engineer and DevOps professional to play a key role in the implementation and integration of the platform.

You will have a deep understanding of containerised architecture and systems orchestration as well as very strong engineering and technical skills within a high-performance computing technology stack.

You should apply for this role if you are/have:

  • 10+ years systems engineering experience within high performance computing environments
  • Excellent understanding of containerised architectures and engineering in Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of DevOps platforms and tooling (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Prometheus, Grafana etc.)
  • Strong Linux engineering and integration experience with significant on prem experience
  • Financial markets or scientific computing experience preferred
  • Degree educated or higher from a leading academic institution in relevant technical subject

This is a £600-700/day role, based London initially for six months.
