THE WORK:
     
        Youll perform duties aligned with project controls leadership and accountability, including hands-on project controls execution (early phase), schedule management and integration, cost management and forecasting, risk management and performance analytics, reporting, governance and stakeholder communication, team leadership and capability building, and digital enablement and advanced controls.
       Youll serve as the project controls lead supporting full lifecycle delivery of utility-scale projects, including CCGT generation, transmission, substation, and distribution infrastructure, from development through commissioning and turnover.
       Youll establish and lead integrated project controls across cost, schedule, risk, and performance management.
       Youll provide leadership-level insight to Project Director and executive stakeholders on project health, risks, and corrective actions.
       Youll implement governance, reporting, and control processes aligned with a structured Project Delivery System.
       Youll personally develop and manage integrated master schedules (Level 14) across development and execution phases.
       Youll lead cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis, including support for estimate development.
       Youll implement earned value management (EVM) and progress measurement.
       Youll develop and maintain integrated schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
       Youll ensure alignment between engineering deliverables, procurement milestones, and construction sequencing across generation and T&D scopes
       Youll monitor critical path, path of construction, and schedule performance metrics.
       Youll lead scheduled risk analysis and develop recovery and mitigation plans.
       Youll establish total installed cost (TIC) tracking, forecasting, and reporting processes across generation and T&D portfolios.
       Youll manage budget control, commitments, change management, and cash flow forecasting.
       Youll provide forward-looking cost insights and variance analysis to support decision-making.
       Youll support development and validation of Class III estimates for regulatory and investment decisions.
       Youll develop and maintain an integrated risk register covering cost, schedule, and execution risks across multiple asset classes.
       Youll perform quantitative risk analysis (QRA) and support contingency management strategies
       Youll monitor leading indicators such as CPI/SPI, change order exposure, material availability, and field productivity.
       Youll identify early warning signals and drive mitigation actions across the project team.
       Youll develop and deliver executive-level dashboards and performance reports.
       Youll support monthly and quarterly project performance reviews with senior leadership.
       Youll ensure consistency and accuracy of reporting across contractors and project teams.
       Youll communicate project performance, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
       Youll build and lead a growing project controls team, including field-based and centralized resources.
       Youll establish standardized processes, tools, and training to enable scalable delivery across generation and T&D programs.
       Youll mentor and develop project controls professionals across multiple sites.
       Youll evolve into leadership of project controls across multiple projects and programs
       Youll support implementation of integrated project systems (Primavera P6, cost systems, ERP integration).
       Youll leverage digital tools and analytics to improve forecasting, reporting, and decision-making.
       Youll enable integration across systems such as scheduling tools, asset systems, and contractor platforms.
        Youll drive continuous improvement in project controls through technology and data-driven insights.
