Full Job Description
THE WORK:
- Youll ensure the safety of Accenture and Client employees, State employees, Contractor employees, and the traveling public by observing contractor operations and traffic conditions, making recommendations, and taking corrective action when necessary.
- Youll review contractor operations for compliance with CAL OSHA regulations.
- Youll provide direction to staff to ensure that complete, accurate, and timely contract recordspertaining to construction progress, job expenditures, budget programs, and work order balancesare maintained in accordance with State and Federal regulations and laws.
- Youll confer with contractors regarding compliance with plans, quality of work, and construction activity.
- Youll perform field inspections of contractor work to determine compliance with plans, specifications, special provisions, utility agreements, and related requirements.
- Youll prepare reports, as well as review and incorporate daily inspection reports from Field Inspectors, to document the contractors activities.
- Youll maintain accurate and complete project records and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Youll calculate and document field quantities for payment purposes.
- Youll document the as-built condition of the constructed facility.
- Youll monitor the project schedule and budget, and report as required to executive leadership.
- Youll assist Accenture in managing the project to maintain quality, schedule, and budget.
- Youll prepare contract change orders for making alterations, deviations, additions, or deletions to the plans and specifications to ensure proper completion or construction of the contract.
- Youll formulate, research, and develop solutions for field conditions that necessitate a contract change order, which may include performing any necessary engineering redesign work.
- Youll identify the need for and prepare contract-related documents for submission to the contractor.
- Youll review CPM schedules and identify and mitigate project risks.
- Youll complete a daily project diary of pertinent activities and discussions held regarding the progress of the contractors work and interactions with the Project/Construction Manager.
- Youll assist Accenture and the Client in resolving and responding to contractor disputes in a timely manner as provided by the contract.
- Youll prepare draft claim reports for Client Vendor/Contract Management when required.
- Youll ensure that inspection, testing, and other quality activities are performed in accordance with the Clients Quality Management Plan (QMP).
- Youll ensure conformance with all Client contract documents.
- Youll perform constructability reviews and provide comments on design packages.
- Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
