Job description
HSBC is seeking an experienced Solution Architect specializing in Name Screening within their Financial Crime technology team. The role involves defining technology strategies, designing technical capabilities, and supporting the delivery of key architectural solutions across a complex technological landscape.
As a Name Screening Solutions Architect, you will be a principal enabler in ensuring the Financial Crime Business strategy is realized. Your primary responsibilities include contributing to target architecture definition, identifying opportunities for simplification, and coordinating solution design across geographically dispersed teams. You will play a critical role in translating complex business requirements into integrated, scalable technological solutions that can be deployed globally.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Solution Architecture within Financial Crime, preferably in Name Screening. You must demonstrate a strong track record of delivering solutions across diverse project spectrums, with deep technical expertise in event-based architectures, service-based solution patterns, APIs, containerization (Docker), and container orchestration (Kubernetes). Strong understanding of technology concepts, roles, and terminology is essential, along with experience working in hybrid environments with on-premises and multiple cloud service providers.
HSBC offers a competitive compensation package for this role, including professional development opportunities, private healthcare for UK-based employees, enhanced maternity and adoption support, and a contributory pension scheme. The organization is committed to creating diverse and inclusive workplaces, valuing different perspectives and ensuring accessibility. As a Disability Confident Leader, HSBC is dedicated to removing barriers and providing opportunities for talented professionals across various backgrounds.
