As a Campus Recruiter, you will be responsible for hiring into our Internship and Graduate programs, as well as attracting top talent to our early engagement initiatives. Have an innovative idea? What You’ll Do:
Our Recruitment team is made up of specialists who work across our three key departments: Trading, Research, and Technology. This recruiter will be aligned with the Research team. The core focus of our Campus Recruiters is to identify, attract, and secure top talent from our target markets for early careers programs and opportunities. To help us achieve our goals, your responsibilities will include:
- Attracting, assessing and closing candidates in our highest priority Research pipelines.
- End-to-end ownership of Hiring Manager relationships for support roles across the campus team.
- Designing, executing and evaluating prospecting efforts that build and retain early talent pipelines.
- Traveling 4-5x annually to support execution of student facing events, including delivering company presentations, attending career fairs, conferences and hosting in-house days.
- Developing innovative recruitment strategies supported by data-backed insights in partnership with stakeholders.
- Proactively assessing and improving our current recruitment strategy by challenging the status quo and demonstrating curiosity.
- Acting as a utility player to support hiring and event needs across campus recruitment.
Who You Are:
- A professional with 3-5+ years of recruitment experience and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- A go-getter who operates well in ambiguity and spends time understanding the root problem, then devising a solution that is fit for purpose.
- A critical thinker with a drive for excellence, you celebrate wins and have a view on how to elevate our work.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance competing priorities with strong follow-through.
- A team player with a “can do” attitude who is willing to travel 4-5 times annually to represent Optiver at recruiting events.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment authorization for this job opening.
