We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Lead to oversee HR operations across the APAC region, streamline processes, and drive compliance with local regulations. This role will act as a key connector between APAC, the US, and EMEA, ensuring alignment with global initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and development to a geographically distributed HR Operations team while focusing on high-performance and collaboration
  • Build regional roadmaps for the operations function, including payroll, benefits and Workday enhancements that roll up into global HR Operations objectives
  • Manage end-to-end HR processes, including payroll, onboarding, offboarding, lifecycle changes, payroll administration, benefits, employee queries, and data management. Provide back up on day to day operational coverage regionally as needed
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, data privacy regulations, and company policies across APAC locations
  • Identify opportunities to improve and automate processes, enhancing employee experience and operational efficiency
  • Support global mobility processes for inbound and outbound transfers within APAC including short-term & long-term assignments and direct transfers
  • Partner with global teams on HR system (particularly Workday), testing, integrations, and global process alignment
  • Collaborate with regional counterparts to drive cross-regional HR initiatives and policy harmonization

Skills You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of HR operations experience, including leadership roles
  • Expertise in Workday are required with an emphasis on utilizing HR technology to automate processes
  • Knowledge of APAC employment laws
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural collaboration skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin required
  • Ability to travel to regional and global offices as needed
