As an Investment Banking intern at Jefferies, you will be responsible for fundamental financial analysis, including performing financial valuations, building financial models, preparing pitchbooks and deal materials, conducting industry research, analyzing corporate and financial information, and participating in the execution of financings and M&A transactions. Interns will work closely with deal teams and senior bankers to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic investment banking environment.
Ideal candidates must demonstrate strong technical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure. Candidates should have a keen interest in corporate finance, be able to multitask effectively, and show potential for high performance in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging setting. Previous experience in corporate finance is preferred, and for the London office, fluency in English is required.
