Job description
A work-study opportunity at EY's Tax practice in the Netherlands, focusing on supporting tax advisory teams and gaining practical experience in the fiscal domain. Ideal for students in the final stages of their bachelor's or master's degree in tax-related studies, offering a chance to work alongside professionals and develop professional skills.
As a work-study student, you will support tax teams by providing information to clients about tax forms, opportunities, consequences, and obligations. You will work directly with colleagues at various levels on projects for different clients, gaining hands-on experience similar to consultants.
Candidates must be pursuing a tax-related degree such as Tax Law or Tax Economics, in the final bachelor or master phase. No prior experience is required, but motivation and affinity for a specific team are essential. Strong oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English are crucial.
EY offers an intensive soft skills training program, personal mentorship with a buddy who provides regular feedback, and the opportunity to build a professional network. This work-study position is an ideal starting point for a potential future consulting career, with the potential to explore different tax specialisms like Business Tax Services, Indirect Tax, People Advisory Services, International Transactions Tax Services, and Transfer Pricing.
