HSBC is a truly global bank and it is welcoming to people from all countries. It is a good place if your priority is stability and not the highest possible compensation for your role. I would recommend HSBC to people in Asia (Hong Kong) and avoid it in the Americas. There are more than 200 000 people working at the bank and sometimes it can feel a bit too slow (too much bureaucracy and hierarchy).
