Full Job Description

This role plans, executes, and analyzes market research with internal partners and/or external vendors; helps identify business research questions and reports research findings to leaders throughout the research process; obtains and organizes market-related information from internal and external sources; selects, manages, and quality checks external research vendors as needed; monitors budgetary

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop an implicit understanding of your internal clients' goals and objectives, and help them make strong decisions by incorporating the customer perspective.
  • Internalize the perspectives of key audiences: general public, investors, and financial media, that can be brought to bear on novel and complex questions.
  • Develop and execute primary research based on business goals and learning objectives.
  • Make the most of existing research when appropriate. The ability to analyze, synthesize and summarize previous findings will be valuable (and lead to glory and honor).
  • Translate research findings into compelling narratives tailored to internal audiences, ensuring insights are both accessible and actionable.
  • Deliver insights through presentations, reports, and storytelling techniques that resonate with internal teams and influence decision-making.
  • Communicate the customer perspective accurately and empathetically. Assist in the production and dissemination of thematic reports on key attitudes and/or behavior patterns. Must be accomplished in verbal or written communication, and able to become expert at both over time.
  • Take a consultative approachoffering ideas, asking thoughtful questions, and helping others refine their thinking.

Qualifications

  • At least five years related work experience, including at least some experience managing primary research projects.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. (Preferably with exposure to the social sciences such as psychology, sociology, political science, anthropology, behavioral economics, or history).
  • At least two years of hands-on data analysis or business intelligence.
  • Demonstrated fluency with questionnaire development (qualitative or quantitative)
  • Strong communication skills in a professional context
  • Proven ability to engage internal audiences with research findings.

This role is part of our hybrid work model with Tuesdays Thursdays required in our offices to foster collaboration and relationships. On Mondays and Fridays, our crew will have the option to work remotely, or continue working from one of our offices in Malvern PA, Charlotte NC, or Scottsdale AZ.
