Job Description

Your Team

Our SOX Program Management team plays a critical role in strengthening the organizations internal control environment. We act as a key bridge between Management, Control Owners, and Auditors, ensuring effective control design, execution, and documentation across the SOX 404 compliance lifecycle.

The team is responsible for:

  • End-to-end control management and risk assessment
  • Identifying control gaps and deficiencies
  • Supporting timely remediation through collaboration with stakeholders
  • Driving consistency, quality, and transparency in SOX documentation and testing outcomes

We work closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to enable a smooth and efficient audit process while maintaining a strong risk and compliance posture for the business.

Your Role

As part of the SOX Program Management team, you will be actively involved in the SOX 404 testing cycle, supporting both Management and Auditors to ensure robust control execution and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting control owners throughout the SOX testing lifecycle, including walkthroughs, testing, and remediation
  • Acting as a key liaison between business teams and auditors to facilitate timely and accurate testing
  • Managing control documentation, evidence collection, and issue tracking
  • Taking ownership of assigned controls or activities and driving them to closure independently
  • Proactively identifying challenges, risks, or control gaps and working with stakeholders on resolution
  • Demonstrating accountability, ownership, and adaptability while handling new responsibilities or complex tasks

This role offers exposure to diverse business processes and the opportunity to build strong risk, controls, and stakeholder management skills.

The Experience You Bring:

  • 2 years of hands-on experience in SOX 404 compliance and testing
  • Practical exposure to:
    • Control walkthroughs and design assessment
    • Operating effectiveness testing
    • Evidence review and documentation standards
    • Issue identification, deficiency evaluation, and remediation tracking
  • Experience collaborating with control owners, internal teams, and external auditors
  • Understanding of internal controls, business risks, and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with ownership while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

Academic requirements

  • Bachelors or masters degree such as:
    • B.Com / M.Com
    • BBA / MBA
  • Professional or part-qualified certifications preferred:
    • CA Inter
    • CMA Inter
