What you will do

Role

  • Responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, managing, and optimizing assigned change initiatives initiated by, or with impact to, Supply Chain including from raw material sourcing to last mile deliveries
  • Close coordination with Marketing, Sales, Other Supply Chain teams, Manufacturing, and raw material sourcing to assess and execute change initiatives
  • Establish and manage Product Offer Management project timelines and expectations; optimize sourcing for new and existing products, packages, and customers
  • Ensure that all assigned projects are implemented in a timely and effective manner with cross-functional alignment

1 - Coordinate, communicate, align

  • Lead and coordinate supply chain activities for cross-functional projects to drive product/customer changes, enhance supply chain capabilities/efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels while ensuring alignment with supply chain/business objectives and compliance standards
  • Coordinate and support the planning, execution, and monitoring of supply chain initiatives aimed at process improvement, cost reduction, and operational excellence
  • Support and drive supply chain improvement projects, initiatives, and best practices across production, logistics, procurement, and inventory management
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, production, and inventory teams to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and implement best practices
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth execution of supply chain projects

2 - Execute change projects

  • Assist in the development and rollout of supply chain policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain operations and report oninitiative progress and outcomes.
  • Support inventory management activities including demand forecasting, stock leveloptimization, and warehouse operations improvements.
  • Assist with training and capacity-building efforts to ensure supply chain staff are equippedto meet evolving operational demands.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and donor or customerrequirements as applicable.
  • Monitor and report on supply chain performanceand project status

 

 

Skills & Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Research (or related fields such as Applied Mathematics/Statistics)
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in supply chain network
  • Experience supporting supply chain activities for large scale operations preferred (particularly in Oil & Gas and FMCG)
  • Understand Supply Chain Fundamentals and Supply & Demand Principles
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience with ERP and/or Supply Chain Planning Systems required
  • Strong command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and extraction of information from ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) is critical
  • Prociency with advanced analytics tools required (Tableau or PowerBI for visualization)
  • Function effectively in a team environment, including virtual environments is critical
  • Strong background in statistics and/or analytics
  • Strong judgment, including ability to make quality decisions
  • Strong persuasion / communication skills / influence without direct authority
  • Experience in supply planning roles in Chemical, FMCG, CPG, Manufacturing, E -Commerce preferred
  • Experienced in Finished lubricants production/manufacturing process preferred (particularly in Oil & Gas and lubricants)
  • Experience in project management and complex coordination
  • Experience in change management for large scale supply chain
  • Experience in conducting analyses and providing data driven recommendations for S&OP processes
  • Experience in network, product flow optimization, deployment/replenishment planning for large scale supply chain (particularly Oil & Gas/FMCG/CPG)
  • Experience with supply and/or production planning processes for either inbound materials or finished products
  • Experienced in conducting analyses and providing recommendations for supply planning problems using
  • SAP IBP/APO, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis
  • Tableau and/or Power Bl for visualization
  • Power Query, Excel
  • Knowledge of R and/or Python for scripting is preferred
  • Demonstrated project management and coordination skills
  • Proven self-starter with strong collaboration and influence management skills; able to work effectively with all levels of the organization
