Position Overview

As an Investment Banking Vice President in our Zurich office you will contribute to the banks M&A execution and capital raising abilities while building our reputation in the Swiss market with the seamless execution of corporate finance transactions. As part of this role you will work with product and sector experts based across the globe, thereby gaining experience in a wide array of industries and products.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing an understanding of our clients businesses to tailor solutions to their needs
  • Building relationships to clients leveraging and providing them with the full suite of our product offering
  • Preparing presentations and being able to present such presentations to clients
  • Taking responsibility for complex financial and valuation analyses and providing guidance to junior bankers in preparing such analyses
  • Collaborating with senior bankers to originate, structure and execute transactions
  • Taking a project leadership role in origination and execution of projects and live transactions
  • Developing, teaching and providing mentorship to junior bankers

Your Skills & Experience:

  • University degree (BSc or MSc) in Banking, Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance / M&A, preferably with a leading IB or boutique
  • Strong numerical, analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Well versed in M&A and a strong track record in successfully executing transactions
  • Excellent communication skills and high self-motivation
  • Strong ability to build client relationships and lead complex projects
  • High degree of maturity and strong commitment to integrity and teamwork
  • Self-directed, able to work independently and under pressure
  • Creative problem-solving abilities
  • Self-starter who will take ownership of client relationships and projects with proven execution skills as well as a track record of coordinating diverse teams
  • Excellent oral and written command of English and German
